Franken-Castle is a version of the Marvel Comics character Frank Castle, better known as the Punisher. This iteration first appeared in *Punisher* #17 (2010).
Critically wounded by Daken, the son of Wolverine, Frank Castle was essentially dead. However, he was recovered by Morbius and brought to a hidden enclave of monsters.
To save his life, Castle was rebuilt using parts from various monsters. This resulted in a patchwork appearance and enhanced physical abilities, transforming him into a cyborg-like being. He retained his memories and desire for vengeance, becoming a monstrous Punisher known as Franken-Castle.
